I need to make a commitment to blog a certain number of times a week, or else it won’t happen. I’m struggling to make time for it atm… workout, eat, work, eat, workout, sleep, repeat…
Whats a good number of blog entries a week do you think?

I think it depends on a) why you are blogging, b) who you want your audience to be, and c) what sort of blog you are planning to make. If you want your blog to be like an online journal, then 3-4 times a week is doable, I think. If you want your blog to be more informative, more inspirational, etc…then 1-2 times is more realistic if you are working full time. And either way, you will go through dry spells where you aren’t motivated or you get stuck or it seems like a chore. Sometimes I force myself through it, sometimes not.
When I was a SAHM, I could generally get 3 and occasionally 4 in–because blogging usually includes either doing something to blog about or researching what you are blogging about, or both. Plus if you plan to include pictures, etc, then you need to take them (which may include needing to set up the stuff to take them) and edit them. If you have set themes and a schedule, 2-3 times might be doable–there’s no way I can normally do that much original in-depth material with working full time and ferrying the kids around after school for scouting and gymnastics.
But, if you do stuff like Wordless Wednesday–I do the occasional Maxim Monday for the Delphic Maxims and Food for Friday (because I like alliteration and they are leftovers from when I did them weekly as a SAHM), and I try to still do some seasonal food and foraging stuff. I also do my hodgepodgy “Musings” posts (like this: https://nuannaarpoq.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/wednesday-musings-5/ ), which are usually a general what’s going on in my life, something I’m thinking about (maybe in response to the news or something I’ve read), something that inspired me, some links to a topic that got my attention or is seasonally appropriate, a bit of tarot or runes or deities or whatever info, etc. Those are usually good for one of the two posts I aim for–sometimes they are the only post I do or sometimes the more informative stuff is the only one I do. It just depends on my schedule.
Generally I only get to blog on the weekends or maybe on my lunch or a slow day at the office, maybe after the kids are in bed before I make lunches and get clothes and backpacks ready for the next day. I’ve started working on stuff from my phone even, but there is only so much I can do on my phone. For the most part, I have a thick stack of drafts that I work on, painstakingly, a paragraph at a time–waiting at the dr office or to get the kids from school, and then I usually schedule them to post when they are done.

Haven’t seen a post in awhile. Maybe once a week would be a good goal?
